Privacy notice

Who we are

Z Trade Ltd, House No. 68, Road No. 8, Block E, Mirpur-12, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Contact about this notice: zillur@ztradeltd.com .

When you send an enquiry

We store what you type: name, company (optional), email, phone (optional) and your message, plus the product you asked about if you came from a product page. We also store the campaign details in the address you arrived by (source, medium, campaign), the page you landed on, the website you came from, and a scrambled fingerprint of your IP address that cannot be turned back into the address. The enquiry is emailed to the Z Trade team through an outside email-sending service and kept in our database. We use it to reply to you.

When you use the chat

The chat is a guided assistant that shows answers Z Trade wrote; it is not an AI and no outside chat service is used. If you open it we keep a conversation record: the messages you and the assistant exchanged, the page you opened it on, the campaign details of your visit and a scrambled fingerprint that changes every day and cannot be turned back into your IP address. No cookie is set; a temporary reference lives in your browser only until you close the tab. If you send a request, the details you type are saved as an enquiry like the contact form, with your agreement, and emailed to the Z Trade team through an outside email-sending service. Conversation records are deleted after 12 months; the enquiry is kept so we can reply to you.

When you subscribe to news by email

We store your email address, the exact wording you agreed to and the time, the page you signed up on and the campaign details above. We email you once to confirm. Nothing else is sent until you click the confirmation link. Every email will carry a link that unsubscribes you in one click; we then keep the address marked as unsubscribed so we do not email it again.

Spam protection

Our forms contain a hidden field that only automated programs fill in, and are limited to a few submissions per visitor. When Cloudflare Turnstile is switched on, a script from Cloudflare loads as soon as you start filling in a form, and Cloudflare receives your IP address and browser details to decide whether you are a person.

Cookies and browser storage

  • A session cookie that this site needs to work: it protects the forms against forgery and remembers the campaign details of your first visit for the enquiry form.
  • Your browser storage remembers your cookie choice and the cities you pick in the world clock. This stays in your browser; we do not receive it.
  • When Google Tag Manager is switched on, loading it sends your IP address and browser details to Google. The measurement tags inside it run only after you press Accept on the banner. You can change your choice at any time with "Cookie settings" in the footer.

Visit counter

We count visits and the time people spend on the site ourselves, without cookies. For each page you open we store the page address, the time, how long the page was open and in use, the website you came from, campaign details in the address, your device type (phone, tablet or computer), your browser name and, when our network provider supplies it, your country. We do not store your IP address: the counter keeps only a fingerprint made from your IP address, browser and a secret that changes every day, so it cannot link your visits across days or be turned back into the address. A visit ends after 30 minutes without activity. Time is counted only while the page is visible and you are active on it. Staff, automated programs and the back office are not counted. Detailed records are deleted after 13 months; daily totals are kept. The footer shows the running totals.

Who receives your data

The Z Trade team; the outside email-sending service that delivers our emails; the web host that stores our database; Cloudflare (spam check, when switched on); Google (Tag Manager, when switched on). We do not sell personal data.
